The Death of Tier Sets – Video

Besides talking about all the other dying things out there today in the WoWsphere, there’s one more thing we can discuss – tier sets going away. Let’s do just that, here today!

  1. Ok, a topic I know a little about (I know so little about Demon Hunters, heh) Thank you for sharing πŸ™‚ Having videos and text is a nice mix, so depending on what people are on the mood for, they can either watch or read πŸ™‚

This is just a personal preference for me; I would chance the screens, so you are on the bigger screen. But thats just me. Unless you are playing something out of the ordinary maybe πŸ™‚ Or if it is related to the topic you are speaking of.

Oh, and your angle for yourself could be lowered a little tiny bit πŸ™‚

Also, I would love a tour around your room! What are those neat things on the wall? πŸ™‚

Super cool start you have made for the videos with the “We all have our demons”.

That aka stuff, I had a hard time hearing, is it meant, so we know where to go to find you too, or former alias, or? If so, perhaps consider adding it to the description below and skip it so you can jump right to the topic at hand, might catch attention easier that way. πŸ™‚

    1. Thanks for watching! I’ve debated having a bigger viewport on the camera but I like putting more emphasis on the game. I’ll probably do a handful of videos where I’m fullscreen – my original channel did that a lot and I didn’t like how it worked out when it was 100% of what I was making. πŸ™‚

Working on getting the webcam lower – I have a tripod for it, I just need to find it!

I’m probably going to do a room lookaround at some point – going through from left to right and top to bottom there is a Hearthstone coin from a few Blizzcons ago, a love note from my girlfriend :), the cover of Computer Gaming World US from November 2001 where WoW was announced and previewed, a few postcards from a wrestling YouTube show called OSW Review, the wrapper of their chocolate bar they send to Patreon subscribers, and lastly the novel excerpt we got at Blizzcon this year. Then it’s a big series of Blizzard collector’s edition mousepads that I have up since they do a decent job dampening sound through the walls in my apartment. Then there is a series of PAX programs from the years I attended that show, and lastly a series of my Blizzcon badges, missing a few years I can’t seem to find again 😦

Thanks for the feedback on the intro! I recorded the first videos around 2 AM local time when my girlfriend was asleep, so it was quieter than I would have liked – I’ve got my microphone gain set better and also better volume in general on the new videos, so the one coming out today will probably be the quietest and then that should improve πŸ™‚ I like doing it because it’s a fun intro but I’m not super attached to anything yet, so it may very well go away πŸ™‚

      1. Oh I see πŸ™‚

Ah, how super neat with the cover from when WoW was announced. Aw, memories, eh.

Hah, gosh at 2 AM, that makes sense then πŸ™‚ It’s all good! Certainly you are off to a great start πŸ˜€
